Cupping has been used as a form of treatment for energy meridian concerns and soft tissue complaints for over 3000 years. Myofascial Cupping applies modern applications to an ancient technique. Topics such as history, equipment, indications/contraindications and static/dynamic techniques will be presented and you will learn how to use Myofascial Cupping to help treat specific ailments.
In this 2 day workshop you will learn how to apply a “cup” to the skin using a hand operated pump. This creates “negative pressure”, thus causing changes beneath the skin, affecting the muscle tissue and surrounding fascia.
Your tutor for this workshop is David Sheehan, DRM. David is an international presenter in Myofascial Cupping, and lectures extensively in this subject both in North America, and throughout Australia.
