NHA Australia’s Professional Development & Short Course Programs.
To be an active member of most associations, members are normally required to complete a level of continuing education every year for renewal as an associate member. This requirement commences after completion of a formal qualification (either Certificate, Diploma or Degree level). Each association will have a different term but it is generally known as Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and/or Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The purpose of continuing your education is to encourage continued professional growth and learning to increase both yours and the industry’s longevity.
By completing this ongoing education each year, you also meet the growing demands from both the public and government perspectives. So simply put; it’s all about accountability and showing that you are a true industry professional.
