NHA Australia is proud to announce its NHAA Wellness Centre (Student Clinic)
One of the reasons NHAA graduates are so sought after Australia wide is the extensive training in Massage Therapy they receive whilst at NHAA. The “quality of touch” is the key emphasis at NHAA, and can only be developed by the extensive training and guidance. To ensure that all our students develop the highest quality skills, they will complete 200 hours of practice in NHAA’S Student clinic before they graduate with their Diploma.
All students are able to provide a ‘Basic Relaxation Massage’ but the more advanced students (students completing the Diploma) will also be able to provide treatments such as: Sports Massage (Deep tissue), Reflexology (Foot Massage), Trigger Point Therapy, just to name a few.
What to Expect
Upon arrival you will be greeted by a NHAA staff member and asked to fill in a client history form, your student practitioner will then undertake a comprehensive and confidential assessment to determine your requirements for your clinical treatment. You will then be shown to your private cubicle where the massage therapy will take place. Proper draping and bolstering is provided at all times to ensure your warmth, comfort and privacy throughout your treatment.
Clinic Supervision
NHAA’s clinic is fully supervised by a HLT52015 qualified senior therapist whom also holds the teaching qualification – TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training And Assessment.
